Suleymaniye Mosque is one of several large mosques in Istanbul, Turkey. It was ordered by Suleyman I to be built in a very short period of time from 1550 to 1557, and is the most important work of architect Cocha Mimar Sinan.

Its magnificent buildings, including mosques, have both urban architecture and national significance, and have the same importance as the Fazih Mosque.
